Job Description

A Behavioral Health Technician assists licensed staff by observing and documenting client behaviors, supporting therapeutic plans, ensuring patient safety, de-escalating crises, assisting with supervised medication support, preparing clients for sessions, completing EHR documentation, and connecting patients to community resources and after-care.

Qualifications (choose one)
  • Graduate of an allied health training program; or
  • Trained on the job by an accredited healthcare facility; or
  • Experience: 3 months verifiable work in behavioral health or addiction care.
