Job Description

A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs patient assessment and positioning, selects appropriate transducers and presets, optimizes gain/TGC/Doppler parameters, follows structured protocols, documents cine loops and measurements, flags critical findings, and communicates with providers while maintaining infection control and patient safety.

Qualifications (choose one)
  • Graduate of an ultrasound or allied imaging program; or
  • Trained on the job by an accredited imaging department; or
  • Experience: 3 months verifiable sonography experience.

All candidates must meet age, ID, and conduct requirements per the NHWCA Candidate Handbook.
