Job Description
A Pharmacy Technician processes and fills prescriptions, calculates doses and day supplies, selects appropriate devices and labeling, assists with sterile/non-sterile compounding per policy (USP <795>/<797>/<800> awareness), performs inventory and ordering, manages cold chain and recalls, supports third-party billing and prior authorizations, and maintains documentation and QA logs.
Qualifications (choose one)
- Graduate of a pharmacy technician or allied health program; or
- Trained on the job by an accredited retail/hospital pharmacy; or
- Experience: 3 months verifiable pharmacy operations experience.
State registration/licensure may be required. All candidates must meet age, ID, and conduct requirements per the NHWCA Candidate Handbook.
